Do you have to be a photographer to book?

No! Anyone can schedule a visit for photos or book an event. You don’t need to be a photographer.

What do you recommend we bring?

Water, sunscreen, and bug spray. This is nature—she’s full of surprises!

Can we schedule a tour ahead of time?

Yes! We’d love to show you around. Scheduling a tour lets you plan the perfect time of day and helps you prepare for your unique experience.

Why Should a Photographer Choose The Maxwell Estate?

We offer a one-stop location with flowers, water features, fields, trees, mountain views, gardens, antiques, animals, and natural wildlife. No more driving all over town or sneaking into backyards—we’ve got it all in one place!

What season is the best to come?

Every season is beautiful in its own way:

Spring: Flowers, clear water, and mountain backdrops
Summer: Fields, gardens, creeks, and animals
Fall: Sunflowers, pumpkins, and corn fields
Winter: Christmas trees, antiques, and old cabins

Do you have restrooms onsite?

The property is 140 acres, so restrooms aren’t readily available throughout. However, there is one at the main office.

Do you have a changing area for long photo shoots?

Yes! We have mobile changing areas available—just make sure to reserve one ahead of time.

What is the best time of day to shoot?

Early morning or after 4 PM is ideal. That said, we also have shaded mountain areas suitable for daytime shoots.

Do you have free parking?

Yes, free parking is available.

Do you have property transportation?

Yes, transportation is available on-site—just schedule it in advance.
